My cousin Tara and her husband Brent celebrate 7 Christmases per year -- and this number is just family. While I have no where near this amount of celebrations per holiday, I had a fair share of get togethers this year.
- Carlson Christmas - we spent the weekend before the holidays playing games (Bingo, Wii bowling)
- Walsh Christmas - my favorite time is always that spent in the car, singing carols and looking at lights
- Immediate Family Christmas - sleeping underneath the tree, donut holes, Santa Jim, waking up as early as Jenna can - these are classic and much loved traditions of Christmas with Mom, Dad and Jenna
- Ertel Christmas - dinner with the entire Ertel family on Christmas Day
- Walsh's and Ertel's - it was so nice to have our families together for dessert, conversation and games
- Just John and I -the final gifts of the season - this year, I surprised John with an Xbox (to be left in Atlanta, of course!)
- Christmas dinner with Jeni and Abby - still to come, but I know this will be delicious!
Overall, the holidays this year felt like they should -- Christmas, done all different ways, was about family, friends and spending time together. Happy Holidays.
