Yes, I'm still here.
I was in the groove of blogging at the beginning of the year, but I fell off of the wagon during the last few weeks. We've been busy with visitors, Emma, work, house projects, technical projects and social outings. More to come on all of that.
In the meantime, here are a few things I've found interesting or thought about recently.
Photographer Kristen Duke is featuring different ideas for displaying photographs in your home all month long. I've already found a few things I want to incorporate somewhere, someday.
We have been watching "Dexter" non-stop. We could probably call ourselves obsessed, particularly since we're going through withdrawls now that we have made it through Season 5 and can't get our hands on Season 6 until it comes out on DVD this summer. This is all thanks to Jenna, who suggested we try this show about a serial killer over Christmas.
John and I are volunteering for the MS Society (Georgia chapter) again this year. We are the co-chairs of the MS Bike Jr. ride, which will take place in September. We did an initial brainstorming session with the MS Society today and I feel really good about the event.
It has been really nice here weather-wise. Really nice. Hard-to-believe-it's-winter nice. Sorry to rub it in for those of you up north. But I will forever be in awe of 60+ degree temperatures and blooming flowers and trees in February.
We renew our cars before our birthdays each year here in Georgia. John decided to change up his plate this year and go with the Golden Lab plate (instead of the standard one). Who can resist a plate with Emma on it? It is really popular here to have a decorative plate, so the Pilot fits right in now.
I just discovered DropBox. It is an amazing and simple tool for syncing various computers and putting files onto a cloud (which I highly recommend - this has saved me many times before from losing important stuff).
